Ah yes.. in the Chamber again..did this one from the Japan Calisthenics book from a few years back.. going fully armored Knight style i had laying around.This one was fun to paint.. simpler than my battle serif style so it was fun.. initially it wasnt going to be as 3D but it just worked better.. Also i did this one to commemorate my start in the Video blogging game for my homies at 004connec.com who is graciously backing me on the paint side with this new Evolve paint.. its all weird and new to me making videos and using euro paint.. being that im used to rustos, krylons and stamp licking. hahaha.. this one has quite a bit of rusto in it tho.. ahhahah this is also a full production with Plush and Teror.. waiting for Teror to finish his piece..full production pics later..check the video i made.. i got a shitty camera... but at least you get to see me working my ninjitsu..

O.G. Totem's 49 chevy fleetline leadsled bomb

My 49 that i just got finished swapping in a 383 stroker pushing around 500 hp, body channeled on a 96 S10 frame, disc brakes, built 4l60e tranny, and my favorite parts.. the front end.. i fabbed up a 51 olds front bumper narrowed it, 49 chevy grille bar with53 bel air teeth, an upper grill mustache from a 51 olds but put on 49 upper mustache ends..

This one if from my style calisthenics while i was in japan the last time.. so the outline is older in the mix.
So the main guy in the middle is what the story is about and has an angel to the left, and a devil to his right(which both look like him).. and hes looking at them both.. whatever is on his mind.. i dunno.
The Hookah is my O and that was for shits and giggles..

So i rocked this outline while i was in Japan last year.. Best thing about my time there is that i have plenty of time to do style calisthenics(when I do outline after outline that are out of my character).. Ive been playing around with the idea for a minute but it manifested itself on paper then.. so i rocked it.
Funny thing is Im headed out the door to hop on a plane to Japan now.. so you know what to expect.

So i went to go see BONOBO live in Athens GA..

man was that a life changing experience.. i was kinda skeptical about Andreya but all reserved were decimated by her OUTSTANDING performance..

ATL hasnt ever been this long with cold and rain.. usually it goes right back to being hot as lucifers ass cheeks..
So i got home from Japan a few days ago and i got the urge mainly due to the weather to get outside and do a quick one.
i havent done one like this in a while so i decided to roll the dice with the green outline.. best thing about the day tho was burning the tires on the 67 camaro out on the street with a trunkfull of paint and a strawberry milkshake..

Yup, still trying to get used to this blogging thing... kinda hard to talk about what im doing when im doing it... so.. i guess ill touch on some recent joints and jams..

So some have been noticing the last few years that ive been doing "theme" pieces.. well the truth is that yes to a degree.. Most of the new joints ive been rocking have been thoughts and ideas ive been wanting to do for YEARS.. i finally have time and space to do so.. so heres the last bang bangs from the tail end of 09 and some in these first coupla months of 10.

So yea i decided to paint an older outline i had laying around just for good measure.
I started bboying in 86 and havent stopped since.. so i decided to write "Original Bboy" on this one.. because i did footwork when it wasnt cool to do footwork, and it was cool to wear your pants backwards.. maybe even a gumby box. Now if you dont believe me step to me in any cypher and ill show you how nice footwork, power, style, flow can be.... then do it in reverse.. like a real bboy should.

i dedicate this one to my boy Ewok 5MH.. my brother in footwork.

Still gotta get used to this bloggin thing.. but lets roll..

heres a new joint me and my man Plush did.
As some of you know how things are going on here in the US.
Times are hard and people are out there getting wilder and wilder for that almighty dollar.
It almost seems like one of those conspiracy theory mkultra mind altering blur of how people are paper chasing nowadays.. and really dont give a fuck about anything else..I myself am in the grind also.. im not rich.. but im good.. i know others arent.. and im not THAT far off.. its like i got one foot back into what i was doing in 94 and one foot on a banana peel.. it wont take much but a few months of nothing to send me back.. with that damn knife in my hand.. instead itll be the 40 cal if it happens now..
and my folks feel the same way.. So.. I wanted to do something that reflected how i felt about how things/people are in the world i live in.. is everything about money?.. its that all there is for folks now?... it sure isnt to me.. . maybe its because i dont have a TV... i dont see all these programs about getting cash doing the most ignorant things and compromising my morals for that dollar.. The greatest byproduct of all this is that my team Burn Unit have been trying to push our OWN boundaries.. so in this particular piece Plush and I decided to dig deep for this...

Its really the evil that men do..

Plush did the character with his head cracking.. Its like hes being killed by what he loves most.. cash.
and I did everything else.. Ive done things similar before on a piece but not to this extent.. was a trial and error thing.. but you get what im saying..

so thas it!.. hope the homies dig.

a Hybrid?.. an abomination?

So i tried out doing a combination of my normal 3D mechanical battle serif style with my newer flame style..

i think its aiight.. its got kind of a charm to it.. but it also needs work.
I think i can come better that this if i focus on the main letter structure in Flames and shield and extention it up with the battle armor.

the orange is Rustoleum orange
I used the oldschool mix cap technique to make gradients for it.
the Green is Krylon Green Ivy.
and highlighted with some bullshit Craftpaint yellowgreen from Hobby Lobby.
tips are a NY skinny and NY fatcap..

Well lets start this blog off with a bang!







I posted this one up on a couple of forums and got a great response on it.. I have been painting alot of hotrods lately with the "true flame" effect which has become slightly popular.

I decided that it would be pretty cool to try something on a new wall..
Originally i did the same technique with another one with a Camaro in the piece.

but this time i did it as the whole piece.. and added a scary "eye" to the mix.

and after i posted this up i noticed a few guys didnt believe it was even spray paint.

matter of fact.. it is.. and even more is that it isnt "euro" paint either.

3 cans of Rustoleum Orange.
2 cans of Krylon Sun Yellow. (Fan tip)
1 can of Krylon Bright Idea. (fan tip)
1 can of Krylon glossy white.
